Period recovery coaching
Support to get your period back, without forcing or pushing harder.
I help active, driven women whose period has gone missing get their natural cycle back, by eating enough, resting more and learning to read their body. I went eight years without a period, and got mine back naturally.

Does this sound like you?
- You haven’t had your period for a while, or it only turns up every now and then.
- You’re driven, always optimising, always pushing yourself, and focused on constant self-improvement and self-development.
- You eat “healthy”, train hard and get a lot done, and can’t work out what’s wrong.
- Your doctor has ruled out other causes, or mentioned hypothalamic amenorrhoea.
- You know you should probably eat more, sleep more, and manage your stress (and maybe do less), but actually doing it feels impossible.
There’s nothing wrong with you or your body. Your body is actually doing exactly what it’s meant to do. A missing period is your body asking for something: more fuel, more rest or less pressure, and often all three.
Doctors call a missing period amenorrhoea (also spelled amenorrhea). When it’s driven by under-eating, high training intensity or stress, it’s hypothalamic amenorrhoea, or HA.
How I help
Return to Rhythm is my 12-week coaching programme. It works in three stages:
Weeks 1 to 4
Fuel and rest
Regular meals and snacks, easing off intense training, and protecting your sleep.
Weeks 5 to 8
The hard middle
The mental side: working through fear around food, rest and body changes, and handling other people’s comments (and your own in your head).
Weeks 9 to 12
Reading your body
Spotting the signs your cycle is returning, and making a plan to keep it, as well as helping your body get into a regular rhythm again.

Meet Helena
Hi, I’m Helena.
After coming off the pill, my period didn’t come back for eight years while I under-ate, trained hard, built a business and moved countries on my own. Eating enough, training more gently and learning to read my body brought it back, and four and a half years on I have a regular cycle. Now I help high-achieving women do the same.
